Account Development Representative

We are looking for a self-motivated Account Development Representative (ADR) to focus on new customer acquisition. As an integral part of the sales team, your personal challenge is to focus on executing sales campaigns and selling initiatives in support of our Enterprise Sales Representatives. Your efforts will target corporate travel departments and evangelize the ROI of our solution which has become the new standard for corporate travel expense management.

We will provide product and industry training.


  • Develop a broad and deep knowledge of the Yapta for Business suite of products and become a resource for information on competitor products and industry advancements.
  • Clearly and effectively articulate Yapta’s compelling value propositions and solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Demonstrate Yapta products using screen-share technology.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified sales leads - following up on inbound leads (Website, Online events, Tradeshows, 3rd Party Vendors, Social Media) and deferred opportunities, and prospecting potential customers through outbound cold calls and emails. Average 60+ inbound/outbound calls (touch points) per day.
  • Support Sales and Marketing initiatives by maximizing attendance at Yapta events and participating in tradeshows, conferences and roadshows as necessary.
  • Manage and maintain sales assets and resources including presentations, collateral and pipeline activity tools. Record prospect information into CRM database (
  • Interface frequently with other departments including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Client Services/Account Management and Executive Leadership Teams


  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • You have 2+ years of successful software sales experience
  • You are a relentless hunter and problem solver focused on winning new business.
  • You know how to listen carefully, qualify mercilessly and create and develop prospect interest in the Yapta solution set.
  • You know how to build, nurture and own relationships.
  • You are a student of Sales - always looking to improve your skills.
  • You are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, and are service oriented.
  • You are a natural at time-management tackling multiple projects and assignments simultaneously, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense-of-urgency and excellence.
  • You possess outstanding business acumen and an appropriate degree of analytical and financial skills.
  • You have an eye towards continuous professional improvement and can evolve your skills and value-add in support of Yapta’s future, business growth.
